Why did the PAC schools want to be in the Big 12 so bad? PAC was doing fine. Just needed to wait for a TV deal. AZ schools gonna hate travel to UCF, Cinn, W. Virginia, Plus they may add Pitt , Louisville.

They were given a full rude to places like USC, Stanford, UCLA, Texas etc tuition, room, food, tutors, personal trainers, etc Add ot all up and we are talking 200k per player over the 4 years in college. Plus, after the four years an athlete will either get to tap into the alumni for a good career job or go play pro. The college provided the venue which is not free to the college but the athletes do not pay so they get quite a bit if you add it all up.

Les Miles absolutely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Winning a Nation Title and playing for another should be in the HOF. Les Miles is not a scumbag Smoak. You did not even know him. Easy with the criticisms. Jackie Sherrill, Bobby Bowden etc etc broke and bent the rules. Les Miles is a good man. His reputation has been unfairly damaged.

1. Utah - built to win now and make a cfp run, but can they stay healthy? 2. Pokes - Always good, what kind of qb play will they get? 3. k state - very solid all around 4. WV - underrated as usual 5. Kansas - favorable schedule, but I’m not a believer yet. 6. Iowa State - solid squad, overachievers. 7. Arizona - overrate, talented enough offense to make some noise but it’s difficult to win year 1 with a new coach/system.

Avery Johnson got potential but putting him so high so early is a take. Especially given the reasons why the qbs under him are low

If all schedules were created equally, WVU should be in the top 3-4. However, WVU's schedule is one of the more brutal schedules. KState, Kansas, & Utah's path to Dallas is far easier than WVU's. That said, if WVU remains healthy, I believe they have the talent, skillsets, & experience to make it to Dallas. We got some great portal additions on both sides of the ball, we return some of the highest snap counts in the league, and I think both sides of the ball take healthy steps forward from how they played last year. Defense was rated in the top 15 until after the TCU game, after we lost a few critical players to injury. With far better depth this year, I think with our portal additions and getting everyone back, our defense should play better than they did during the first half of last year. Offensively with all we have returning on OL(6 of our starting/rotating 8 returning), WR, RB, & QB, we should play better than how they did near the end of the season. Esp now that Greene isnt dependent on a bunch of true freshmen at WR. Something most people overlook from last year, as Clement, Ray, & Gallanger were all true freshmen, Jaheim White too. With as many home run threats that WVU will have on the field, allows them to be incredibly diverse in how they attack opposing defenses to reduce predictability and maintain superior ToP, further improving Defensive play. We have a few tough road games, Okie St, Arizona, & Texas Tech, but we do get KState, Kansas, IowaSt, & UCF at home. Still, its a brutal schedule and will require WVU to remain healthy in order to make it to Dallas. WVU doesnt play any of the bottom teams, tho who knows how a few of these teams play this season. Maybe a few wont be as tough as we think.

As a Nebraska fan I haven’t found another Sports talk outlet outside of Nebraska that gets what’s happening under Coach Rhule more than 365 Sports.

The shots were fired years ago. Losing Nebraska mizzou and Colorado should have been taken more seriously before that happened. Thats when the TV monies started making splits not just starting in 2021. I wish you guys well, hope things work out, but as the landscape changed the greed emerged and everyone should have taken notice then.

If teams can be ranked within the conference based upon if they play too or bottom tier teams, the schedule makers have got to do a better job of evening out schedules.

WVU is a contender this year. I don't get why people are high on Arizona sure you have a good QB but what else? Even the coach is new and we have no guarantee the QB works in a different system.
